The office Vigliecca & Associados, responsible for the architecture and urbanism project of Castelão stadium in Fortaleza, announced last week a new projection of the arena, which should be ready by the end of the year.
The 3D image shows in detail the stadium coverage, which will have support gantries connecting to the old structure, reducing the vibration from the bleachers. See the virtual model with better definition by clicking here.
With 63% of works completed, Castelão is the most advanced World Cup arena among the 12 host cities. The Fortaleza’s stadium will receive one of the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup, a preparatory tournament beginning in June 2013.
