Within 15 days, Odebrecht, the construction firm responsible for the construction of the Itaquerão, shall open a third working shift on the work site of the stadium due to receive the opening match of the 2014 World Cup. The information was provided by the “UOL” web portal.

The construction company shall take on 60 new employees who shall work through the night, from 8 p.m. to 5:40 a.m. In October 2011, the night shift, from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., had already been started.

Together with the initial working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., now this work site shall have almost 24 hours of work a day, all of this being so that the Corinthians Arena can be ready by December 2013.

At the moment, 23% of the work on this project have been completed.
