FIFA has today (July 7th) disclosed the name of another sponsor for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. According to the institution, Johnson & Johnson will be the official partner for “health care” in the competition.
“To have such a globally renowned and trustworthy company like Johnson & Johnson as a sponsor of the World Cup is a major victory for FIFA, and we are honored to receive them on board”, said the Marketing Director of FIFA, Thierry Weil.
This company is the eighth sponsor of the World Cup and also the last global partner to support the tournament. “To complete our sales of global partnership three years before the event is something worthy of note and also a cause of great pride for FIFA”, said Mr. Weil.
According to FIFA, there is still room for three national company sponsors. The values of the new deal with Johnson & Johnson have not been released.
